LINO LAKES, MN – Sharetec System, core technology made simple, announces Landmark Credit Union in Danville, IL, has great success using Sharetec’s Debit Card Round Up Program to become "top of wallet" with their members and also to increase Share Draft Account enrollment.

For many years now, Landmark Credit Union has been promoting Sharetec’s Debit Card Round Up Program to members to help increase Share Draft enrollment. With Sharetec’s Debit Card Round Up Program, members can increase their savings with each debit transaction they make. When a purchase is made, their transaction will be rounded to the nearest dollar and the difference is added to their savings account.

"With about 16% of our Share Draft accounts currently enrolled in our program, members are amazed how quickly their account grows just by using their debit card for purchases. It’s fantastic," comments Anna Melecosky, Vice President of Landmark Credit Union.

Landmark’s membership as a whole uses their debit cards more than any other form of payment. "This has allowed Landmark’s card to become top of wallet for their members that enroll, being used more than any other card in their wallet," comments Matt Isger, Regional Director for Sharetec. "Additionally, members can save without having to do anything. They can sit back and watch their bank account grow. It’s simple and easy, exactly what members want."
